Labor and Supply Cost Control

Utilize real-time data for staffing decisions to create a staffing model that reports by unit based on patient census. Using this model, adjust staffing at the beginning of each shift based on real-time census data and the staffing model.  Expand to the physician offices based on physicians working each day and visit load.

 

Physician Integration

Integrate the Physician Offices into the Health Information System (HIS) scheduling module.  Connect via a web-based portal and allow direct integration into the HIS for Real-Time scheduling at the Physician Offices.  This eliminates inefficient fax or manual based processes to schedule care referred by physician offices.  Also the workflow for follow on task and Referring Physician processes are easily deployed.

Using web-based portals for Patient Access and workflow for notification to Physicians and Patients, rules can determine when patients can be automatically informed of lab or other results when appropriate.  Physician notification can occur for special rules to control proper notification of results that are not to be shared without explanation or Physician involvement.
